What a journey!

What a journey!

Oh the variations of training. Personally, I have experienced some up and down moments this Spring. The weather has been a challenge. Schedule,  self-regulation, lack of sleep, self-motivation have all presented unique challenges.

Recently, I have felt a certain "surge" in my training. The long runs have really kicked my @ss. Today, I listened to @DavidLeeRoth on @joerogan 's podcast. GREAT stuff. 


The scenery was awesome too. Check it out. Running for the WIN!

Broken + Repaired

Broken + Repaired

YIKES! I pushed myself too hard a couple of weeks ago and caused myself to tweak some nagging injuries. Since then, I have been working hard on moving, but taking it a bit easier. Today, I ran outside for the first time in a couple of weeks. It felt GREAT! I was worried about how my lower body would handle it. I listened to my body and it helped out a ton.

For my two off weeks, I mixed it up with stretching, foam roller, hockey and the elliptical. Now it's back to the grind!
